Dear God,
Today, I lift up my dear friend Dave to You. You know his heart, his courage, and his pain. Lord, he is walking through a valley of illness, and I ask You to be near him. Wrap him in Your peace and cover him with Your healing presence.
Please grant wisdom to his doctors, strength to his body, and comfort to his spirit. May each day bring hope, and may each moment be filled with Your love. Ease his fears and replace them with faith. Ease his suffering and replace it with Your strength.
Surround Dave with support—from friends, from family, and from Your holy presence. Let him feel Your nearness and know that he is never alone.
I trust in Your power to heal, to restore, and to give peace that passes all understanding. May Your will be done, and may Your grace carry Dave through each day.
